I am an artist and photographer. My abstract images of the natural world break apart the thing itself and give over to sensations of color and light, the energy of a place. When movement in the photographs breaks apart the rational, detailed image, I see the places and things I know in ways I’ve never seen. I have crisp clear photos of almost all of these same scenes, but don’t find as much meaning in them. My photographs give me small snapshots of dream riddles.  I am grateful for this.
